Women in Art & Literature

Literary Affairs partners once again with Artbites to present a day of Women in Art & Literature. Maite Gomez-Rejon will curate a tour at LACMA about art made by or about important women in history. Julie Robinson will further enlighten us by discussing significant women writers and their works on the tour and at Surfas Test Kitchen where you will prepare a meal inspired by significant cookbooks of the centuries including Mary Randolph’s The Virginia House-Wife, Fannie Farmer’s Boston Cooking-School Cook Book, Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking, and Claudia Roden’s A Book of Middle Eastern Food.

**All attendees will be sent a Literary Affairs reading selection packet upon purchase of a ticket.
